
i n d e / j a c o b s is located in Marfa, Texas. Marfa, a town of 2,000 people, provides a unique setting for an art
gallery because it is the home of the Chinati and the Judd Foundations. These foundation include major permanent
installations by Judd, Flavin, Andre, Kabakov, Roni Horn and others. The Ayn Foundation supports installations of
work by Maria Zerres and Andy Warhol's "Last Supper" series.
The architectural firm Claesson-Koivisto-Rune (CKR) from Stockholm, Sweden has designed the permanent gallery
which is under construction. Currently, there is no scheduled completion date.

This is a book about five art trials of the last quarter of the 20th century. The trials relate to Richard Serra's Tilted
Arc, Karen Finley's challenge regarding the denial of an NEA grant, Jeff Koons seminal copyright case, the valuation of
Andy Warhol's estate, and Wojnarowicz's suit against Rev. Donald Wildmon and the American Family Association for
misrepresentation of his artwork.

Signs of Marfa is a photo-book by Vilis Inde. The photographs depict
both the natural and man-made signs that define the town of Marfa.
